OMNI signs up for its 6th year in support of the Northbridge Food Pantry program. They are involved in collection and distribution of food for families in need of assistance.

OMNI was instrumental in solving issues with a new power supply assembly used by a major medical instrumentation OEM. The solution involved working closely with the OEM and commercial power supply manufacturer to uncover the root cause and corrective action which was quickly implemented to mitigate production down time and field rework costs.

OMNI begins expansion and remodeling of its Whitinsville facility as a result of the improved business climate. The additional office, manufacturing and warehouse space will allow OMNI to improve material & manufacturing flow, plus better position the company for future growth.

OMNI gets UL certification UL508 for assembly of electrical control panels. This expands OMNI’s offering to both OEM and End user customers.

December 21, 2008

OMNI completes major Biotechnology System for delivery to Fraunhofer USA. The project was a collaboration of researchers at Boston University and Fraunhofer USA who co-developed an alternative vaccine system using tobacco plants. OMNI’s role was overall project management and manufacture the control systems and coordinate the electrical installation on to the structure.
